As with hand and foot reflexology, facial reflexology aims to help your entire body function at its optimal level with the added bonus of a glowing complexion and clearer, younger looking skin!
This is a gentle non invasive treatment based on the theory that areas on your body are reflected on your face and by stimulating these areas, we can help to improve energy imbalances which in turn helps to bring about a greater sense of well being. It is believed that stimulating facial reflex points helps to connect to the body's neuro pathways which helps to both rebalance and revitalise body and mind.

Dien Chan Zone Facial Reflexology

Dien Chan Zone is a technique from Vietnam which has been adapted and westernised in Italy.
It aims to treat symptoms in the body via stimulation of zones on the face to help repair and prevent imbalance of many kinds and can be used both on its own or as a compliment to allopathic measures.

It is used to treat symptoms presented in the acute or chronic phase and its aim is to free up energetic pathways thereby re-energising you on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
At the beginning of the treatment, we will discuss which particular symptom may be bothering you the most and then I would treat the related system. For example, if you were experiencing blocked sinuses, I would then treat the respiratory system using a specially designed metal wand like tool to 'colour in' specific zones on your face which relate to this system.

It should feel wonderfully relaxing and many people fall asleep during this very gentle and non invasive treatment.
Afterwards, I will give you your own personalised face map which highlights the zones of the face that I have worked on.
I will demonstrate how you 'colour in' your own face so that you may continue to work on yourself at home for a few minutes a day or for as long as you wish to.
I encourage you to work on your chosen system for a period of 21 days and then rest for the following 7 days.
This enables you to reassess your symptoms after which you may decide to continue working on yourself, if you have experienced an improvement.
Alternatively, you may wish to have another treatment so that we can address another issue and it's related system.
